Place of passage, pleasant surroundings and parking.
staff do not keep their commitments. I'll explain why, during the night, headboard came off the children's bed, one of them may have been killed. They are very heavy and walls being made of plaster and with so much humidity in the room gave way. We placed the headboard on the floor and continued to sleep. next morning we informed the reception staff of the incident while we went down to have breakfast, on our return there were two workers dismantling the crossbar that held the headboard, this with all our bags open and our wallet on the table. We invited them out, mostly because we were leaving in 10 minutes and they would have time to do it when we left. we left the hotel the receptionist apologized and told us that the hotel was going to have a detail and give us back part of what we had been charged. After two weeks this has not happened, they have not even answered my emails, more when I did not request anything, it was an offer of reception.
Treated well. Plenty of parking.
No mold smell. Clean room. Decent towels.
Not as convenient to the airport as I expected. Had to take an upstairs room despite booking months in advance asking for ground floor. Small elevator. No ice machines on the 2nd floor- had to walk downstairs at the end of the hall. Pitiful breakfast. No cooked eggs or meat. Did have two waffle machines. Limited space- got crowded.
Reception was very friendly
The plates for breakfast were too small.
The facilicities were very nice. The desk person was pleasant. The hotel was booked with no vacancies. I called ahead as I was coming in late and my room was ready when I arrived. The room was clean and fresh and everything worked. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others and I would stay again.
1. There was no signs as to where the ice machine was. It was not with the vending machines on the first floor. They need to have signs. 2. The continent breakfast was quite small and so was the room it was it. They might have been better to put the breakfast out in their lobby area as that was spacious and quite nice.
We stayed at this hotel on our way to the woodbury outlet. The outlet is simple and do not expect much of the design or comfort. However it was clean and staff were really nice. The swimming pool is great and even though it is an indoor one you can open windows and doors giving on the garden!
In the corridor leading to our bedroom the smell of smoke was really strong and I worried it would be the same in our bedroom, but the non smoking bedroom was absolutely fine. The design of the hotel is maybee a little outdated but for this rate I did not mind at all. we slept on the road side it was a bit noisy but it was not too bad!
The small 2nd story deck overlooking the pond across the road. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on that and I would recommend mentioning it in your advertisements. Having the diner within easy walking distance was also very nice.
I would have appreciated an upgrade in the quality of linens.
The pool was advertised but not available in the winter. The free breakfast was fit for children (childrens cereal, oatmeal, bread and jam)
could get into a better shape in future
This hotel was a great value-beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
Ideal place for Woodbury Common Outlet
Although the room was to be a non-smoking room, it was obvious that not all guests are obeying the no-smoking rules.
Great value. Spacious and clean room and bath for a budge motel. Easy on-off major freeways. Easy access to West Point and other mid-Hudson attractions.
Good location at a reasonable price for this trip
The location was convenient to the outlets.
Hated the uncomfortable matress
I was very pleased with this hotel and our room, we stayed here one night on our way to virginia beach to spend a few hours in washington. The room was very clean and spacious. We got a king size bed instead instead of queen and it was very comfortable. The fridge and microwave were quite useful. Staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was very elaborate and delicious and there were many tables. We didn't use the shuttle to the metro station, we drove the 2 minutes to the metro station as there is free parking at the metro station on the weekend. It is also a walkable distance, about 15-20 minutes. Great stay overall.
